Isn’t it amazing how time flies? Here we are in the second half of 2019, with winter nearing its end. Now is the perfect time to start thinking about spring and what you need to do to prepare your veggie garden for the new season. Herb Dill

Anethum graveolens This very flavourful herb is used in a variety of ways. The fern-like fronds make a welcome addition to a green salad, the entire herb; seeds flowers stalks and leaves (basically everything except the dirt) can be used in pickles. The seeds are most often used in savoury dishes and pickling. Companion plants: Carrots, tomatoes, brinjals, peppers and cabbage. Approx. 50 seeds

Anethum graveolens This is a HUGE Dill. It grows to well over 2 m tall, and does so at an impressive speed. Bar the hugeness and associated productiveness of this dill variety, nothing changes, every part of the plant can be used as with other dill varieties. We also did not detect any discernible difference in taste. Companion plants: Carrots, tomatoes, brinjals, peppers and cabbage. Approx. 100 seeds
