When I walk to my garden and see a pest of disease I often close my eyes, ignore them and pretend they're not there, but that's hardly the solution! To help you and especially those living in wet and humid climates, here is a list of vegetables available on that are either resistant or tolerant to different diseases.

Cucumis sativus Well-known heirloom OP cucumber, grown in most vegetable gardens, and excellent for slicing. An early variety and a prolific producer of medium sized fruits that are darker than other cultivars. Resistant to downy mildew and other problems normally caused by humid conditions. Grows well in containers. A crisp and crunchy slicing cucumber, great in salads and on sandwiches, as well as in cucumber soup. Also great for pickling. Approx. 10 seeds
