Herb Summer Savory
A popular European and Canadian herb, it is most often used in meat and game dishes. Summer Savory lends itself extremely well to flavouring beans (steamed or boiled) and is often referred to as the bean herb. It can be used interchangeably with sage and makes a fantastic addition to soups and stews where it can be added in quite large amounts.
