Squash Yugoslavian Finger Fruit

(1 customer review)

(Cucurbita pepo)

A very unique, uncommon and peculiar – yet pretty squash, originating from Yugoslavia. This gourd looks similar to a “patty pan” but it has 8-10 finger-like protrusions. These are ready to harvest as young patty pans or matured for a tasty squash. When mature, these also make very good ornaments and will keep well in a display.

Approx. 10 seeds

This squash didn’t bear as much as other varieties but it sure made it up in looks and flavor. It’s perculiar UFO type of appearance will have your guests talking as will it’s very distinctive nutty flavor. It also cooks very firm unlike other types of squash.
